Item Details
An oil painting on board of portraiture. This painting depicts a bearded man with a red headwrap and open shirt smoking from a long, wooden pipe against a toned background. An illegible artist signature is seen to the lower right corner of the composition. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring moulded gesso patterning to the surface and hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- frame is chipped throughout; paint is flaking off of frame throughout; board is bowed and there is a gap between the board and frame; varnish is yellowing; minor punctures in dust cover.
