John Stobart Offset Lithograph "Pittsburgh, The Monongahela Water

A signed limited edition offset lithograph on paper after an original painting by well-listed American marine and riverboat painter John Stobart (born 1929), titled Pittsburgh, The Monongahela Waterfront in 1900. This piece was published by the Maritime Heritage Prints in 1977. It is the third piece in a series of four dealing with the Mississippi and Ohio River Ports and gives a retrospective view of the Pittsburgh waterfront. The print’s title is printed to the lower center margin, and important ships nad landmarks are labeled in fine text to the lower margin. The print is signed and dated 1977 in-plate to the lower right. It is double-matted in white and gray with a gold tone fillet and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with gold tone finish and a hanging wire.
