1950s Papier-Mâché Serving Trays
Item Details
A collection of papier-mâché serving trays. This collection features fifteen serving trays comprised of wood in a rectangular and snack tray shape. The trays are covered with papier-mâché in a bright pastel shades featuring scrolls and palmettes, and gold tone and red flowers and foliage. The trays are marked on their underside ‘Alcohol Proof An Exclusive Viking Import Japan’ with a gold tone oval sticker.
Condition
- nicks and scratches to underside; fading to paint.
