Item Details
A limited edition framed print by noted artist Bev Doolittle, issued in 1991 and titled Sacred Circle. The work is comprised of a mosaic of nine squares with the outer images linked by white design elements to create a circle around the Native American at the center. It is numbered 9056/40192 and is signed in plate and in pencil to the lower right.
In the words of the artist: ‘The sacred circle is the circle of life; the delicate thread that unites all living things. Only man knowingly holds the thread. Of all the animals, only he has the intelligence to protect and preserve it. Only he can be the keeper of the sacred circle.’ Bev Doolittle
