Vintage Framed Audubon Prints

Item Details

A pair of framed offset lithographs from paintings by John J. Audubon, originally created for his ‘Birds of America’ series. One is titled ‘Black-Billed Cuckoo’ and places the birds in front of a magnolia branch as they vie for a tasty bug. Number 7, plate 32. The second is titled ‘Pinnated Grouse’ and depicts two male birds competing for the affection for a female. It is #38, Plate 176 and has a copyright of 1937. They are presented in matching wood frames painted silver with muted green mats.
