A hand crafted and painted figural chair. The crisp, back lacquer chair features a backsplat of a vibrant red, blooming ‘poppy’, with a hand painted stem and leaves extending to the seat and a legs. The organic design flows through the entire piece and is interconnected at every level. The circular seat rises on three legs and features an image of a bee in flight. The piece represents ‘functual art’, and is signed and dated by the artist at the rear back foot.
