1957 Eugen Ferner Chaffing Dish and Bristol Silver Plate Lidded Dish
Item Details
A collection of silver plate serving ware. This includes a chaffing dish and burner stand by German silversmith Eugen Ferner (active circa 1930s-1950s). It includes a shallow domed lid above a gadrooned rimmed pot with applied acanthus leaf handle, with a bowl inset. This sits upon a three-legged warming stand with included warmer. The pieces are marked ‘M Eugen Ferner 1957’. It is accompanied by a low profile rectangular lidded dish by Bristol Silver, a trademark of the Poole Silver Co.
