Quaker Silver Co. Weighted Sterling Compote and Gorham Sterling Pitcher
Item Details
A pairing of sterling silver tableware. This selection includes a Quaker Silver Co. weighted compote with repoussé leaves around the edges of the bowl and a turned stem. It is stamped to the underside with the Quaker Silver Co. hallmarks and ‘Sterling 8706 Weighted’. The lot also includes a Gorham four and a half pint pitcher. It is stamped with the Gorham hallmarks to the underside above ‘Sterling 024 4½ Pint’ and a shield cartouche, which dates this piece to the 1950s. The approximate weight of the pitcher is 22.37 ozt.

- light surface wear including scratches and tarnish.
