A limited edition offset lithograph on paper titled First Winter by Comanche artist Joyce Lee ‘Doc’ Tate Nevaquaya (1932-1996). This piece depicts a winter scene in which a Native American child throws a snowball at a running dog. It is signed in plate and by hand to the lower right and numbered 305/1500 to the lower left. The print is double-matted in light blue and beige and set behind glass in a wooden frame with gilt trim and a wire to the verso.
Condition
- considerable scratches to frame; glass does not fit well in frame; some tearing to paper backing.
