Antique Oak Secretary Desk

Item Details

An antique oak secretary desk. The piece has oak construction with quartersawn oak on the drawer faces, door face and back splash. The fold down front of the secretary desk carved scroll details and features a low desk height. Above the desk portion is a cartouche shaped beveled mirror with a short, irregular shaped shelf. On the left side is a small curio storage cabinet with curved glass and four wooden shelves. The back splash has ornate scrolled acanthus leaf details carved into the wood in relief.

Condition

The piece shows some wear. The mirror shows some corrosion, the hardware surrounding the key hole on the door is missing, one drawer pull needs repair. The piece does not come with a key.
