Original Color Aquatint Etching of Notre Dame
Item Details
An original aquatint etching with areas of mezzotint texture and a la poupée coloring. The print depicts Notre Dame Cathedral as viewed from across the Seine River in Paris. The piece depicts the stunning structure in dusk, as glowing orange light coats the sky. The piece does not have a visible signature. It is matted in white and presented behind glass in a thin wooden frame with dark brown and gold tone finish. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.
