Pair of Seated Female Bookends
Item Details
A pair of metal and plastic bookend depicting a female figure. These bookends depict a seated woman in 19th century clothing reminiscent of James Abbott McNeil Whistler’s Grey and Black No.1, better known as ’Whistler’s Mother.’ The figures are made of metal with ivory colored plastic faces and hands and rest on black metal bases with felt bottoms.
Condition
- to fair; some scratches to base; one figure is slightly loose on base.
