1940s Capitol Children's Records

A pair of 78 rpm record sets geared towards children, produced in the late 1940s by Capitol Records. Rusty in Orchestraville (album BC-35, 1946) is an educational album on four discs, featuring segments in which ‘the tones of the musical instruments, themselves, are made to speak and sing words in their own voices by means of Sonovox’. Also included is Capitol Presents Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd in Warner Bros. Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies (album CC-64), featuring character voices by Mel Blanc.

- Looney Tunes set is missing one record and contains misplaced record; general surface wear; untested.
