Antique Meiji Period Hand-Painted Japanese Imari Porcelain Dish

Item Details

An antique hand-painted Japanese Imari porcelain dish. The ten-sided dish has intricately detailed hand-painted scenes, motifs and designs to each of the sides. The interior is also richly decorated with cobalt blue and red flowers. The dish is accented in gold lustre. The underside is marked ‘Made in Great Japan, Hichōzan, Yamaguchi’ (大日本肥蝶山山口製), and was likely produced during the Meiji period (1868-1912).
