A machine woven wool area rug by Karastan in the Village Garden pattern from the Chahar Mahal Collection. This rug is a 100% New Zealand wool Style Village Garden #605 and has a pattern typical of the Bakhtiari garden designs. It features a garden panel pattern of stylized floral elements in various shades of pink, blue, black and green and beige with a wide primary border of stylized samovar elements and
serged edges. The rug is tagged to reverse.
