Early Folk Art Diorama of a Working Farm Scene

A wonderful early Folk Art diorama depicting a working farm scene at midday. Hand-carved in relief, the diorama depicts a farming landscape with workers in a field, horses and a dog to lower left; a village, trees and rolling hills to the distant background. The artist has signed the piece with the initials ‘SIC’ to bottom edge next to an impressed number ‘25’. Finished with hand-painted color throughout and framed by wood.
