An original watercolor on paper by Cincinnati-born artist Emma Mendenhall (1873-1964). The painting depicts a calm Ohio River landscape scene, having a pleasing palette of saffron, cobalt and sage. Signed ‘E. Mendenhall’ in black ink to lower left. Presented with a light blue and off-white double mat, housed behind glass within a gilt finish wooden frame.
