Antique Victorian Chromolithograph Valentine
Item Details
A framed display of an antique Victorian-era chromolithograph valentine card, circa 1900. The image depicts a young farmer girl picking flowers in a gated meadow, encircled by a lacy heart shape within a floral border of rendered roses and violets. A small banner reads, ‘To my darling’. This piece is float-mounted on maroon mat within a mottled lavender mat, protected under glass in a beveled wood frame with a natural stained finish.
Condition
- age discoloration across valentine. Wear around edges of valentine. Finish of frame is worn.
