A 1998 limited edition, signed lithograph on paper after an original painting by beloved wildlife artist and conservationist John A. Ruthven (b. 1924) titled Bird’s Eye View. The image depicts a pair of vibrantly colored parakeets perched amongst the branches of a dogwood tree, peering onto a Native American figure below as he works to build a fire. The print is signed and dated in plate to lower image, signed in pencil to lower right margin. Numbered in pencil 40 out of an edition of 250 to lower left margin. Housed behind glass with a hunter green and off-white double matting, presented inside a decorative gilt finish wooden frame with a wire for hanging present to the reverse.
