A limited edition etching on paper titled Battle of Nunanu by listed artist, Juliette May Fraser (1887 – 1983). This work depicts human figures fighting in a valley between two large rock formations. The piece is signed in pencil and dated 1972 to the lower right corner. It is number 29 in an edition of 125 and the title is written in pencil to the lower left corner. It is presented behind a mat, under anti-glare glass, in a wood frame with a wire to the verso ready to hang.
Condition
- dirt and debris on glass; frame has scratches and wear throughout; frame is beginning to separate at the corners; no dust cover; backing is bowed; minor tears from tape and punctures throughout backing; artwork is loose in frame, reinforced with fletcher points.
