A vintage hand-knotted Karaja wool and cotton area rug. It features a red field with repeating guls or medallions in shades of blues, reds, and whites. Enclosing the field is a large border with geometric floral and foliate elements. It has overcast edges and dense finge to either end. Illegibly tagged to reverse.
