An original watercolor on paper by Cincinnati-born artist Emma Mendenhall (1873-1964). The paintng is rendered with two dwellings in the foreground and the mighty Ohio River meandering off into the distance behind. The work is signed in brown watercolor paint to lower right corner. Presented with an off-white single mat with gilt interior border. Housed behind UV protected conservation glass, inside a decorative giltwood frame with a wire for hanging to the reverse.
