After Charles Emile Jacque Offset Lithograph "Les malades et les medecins"

An offset lithograph on paper of an original piece by Charles Emile Jacque (1813-1894) titled Les malades et les medecins. This print depicts a man sitting in a chair doubling over in pain while two women stand nearby conversating about the issue and is signed in plate to the lower right corner. Mounted under a single layer of white matting, the print is presented under glass in a stained wood frame with string for hanging presently to verso. Jacque, part of the Barbizon school, is best known for his pastoral paintings and engravings.
