A 1969 original watercolor on paper titled Barge “Vercors” – River Seine – Paris by Stuart Henry. The piece features overall muted tones of pale green, light blue, and cool gray in depicting a view of Paris as a more prominently colored barge sails past the shores of the River Seine. The piece is signed in pencil by the artist to the lower left and is titled and dated to the verso reading, “Barge ‘Vercors’ – River Seine – Paris 7-31-69.’ It is presented unframed, matted in white.
