A vintage hand-knotted Sarouk wool and cotton room-sized area rug. The field is a wine red with blue and white colored floral garlands, foliage, and accents. Surrounding the field is a dark border with alternating palmettes along with two pairs of guard borders. It has overcast edges and short fringe to either end. Unmarked.
