Josie Van Gent Edell Limited Edition Offset Lithographs of South Carolina Architecture

A collection of offset lithographs after original watercolors by listed artist Josie Van Gent Edell (1921 – 2007). This collection includes two pieces, titled Broadstreet, and Early Morning in Charleston, both depicting architecture in Charleston, South Carolina. Each print is signed by hand in ink and in plate to the lower right corner. The prints are numbered 524 in an edition of 2000 and 222 in an edition of 800 to the lower left corners. Each print is presented under matting, glass and presented in a brown wood or gold tone metal frame. A wire is present to verso for hanging purposes and the prints are accompanied by a newspaper clipping about the artist.
Edell is best known for her watercolors and is a member of the South Carolina Watercolor Society and the Charleston Artist Guild. Additional information about the artist is present via the link below.Condition
