A limited edition enamel on copper titled The Village in Winter by Jean-Paul Loup (1867-1948) for Bétourné Studios of Limoges, France. The piece depicts a winter village scene with buildings, trees, people, and snow beneath an orange sky. The bottom right is signed ‘Bétourné Limoges’ and numbered ‘26/50’ to the left. It is presented in a wooden frame with scroll ornamentation, a gold-tone finish, a burgundy velvet liner, and a centered brass plaque that reads ‘The Village in Winter.’ There is a metal tab hanger to verso.
