Item Details
An original oil on canvas by well-listed artist Ernest Fredericks (1877-1959), titled Summer Splendor. The image depicts a rich, autumnal landscape scene centered around a tapering stream lined by mature trees with changing leaves; thought to be the portrayal of the Ozarks regional landscape of the central United States where the artist was known to reside. Signed by hand in black paint to lower left. Presented without glass, housed inside a striking giltwood frame with wire for hanging to reverse. Affixed to the backside is a label that reads with the title, artist, medium and dimensions of the work.
