An original vintage 1943 colored pencil drawing on paper by Cincinnati artist Frederick G. Wetterer, depicting the United States Capitol building, based on a photograph by Philip Gendreau. The date and artist signature are signed to the lower left and right corners. This work is mounted under aged off-white mat with French lines, behind glass in a narrow wood frame with a textured cream finish.
Condition
- notable discoloration and accretion on entire piece. Finish of frame is scratched and worn.
