Vintage New York Central Railway System Syracuse Tableware in "Mercury Brown"

A set of circa 1960s tableware made for the New York Central Railway System. Featured are four pieces made by Syracuse China, all with the mid-century Mercury Brown ‘NYC’ pattern used by New York Central Railroad. Items include a lidded creamer, marked ‘9252, BTC, USA’; a small bowl, marked ‘Syracuse China, Econo-Rim, BBB’; a sugar jar, marked ‘Syracuse China, 95-D’; and an oblong serving tray, marked ‘Syracuse China, 10-FF’.
