Triptych on Wood Board

Item Details

A triptych on wood board with illustrations in the style of Khamsa of Nizami (1590s). This piece features three illustrated panels depicting bright, colorful crowd scenes in shades of red, blue, yellow, green, pink, and orange and accented by blocks of Persian writing. The panels are framed in a rustic cream and brown textured border. The verso is red and is marked ‘Ardecor’ on a label to the bottom.

Condition

- minor chipping to edges; some surface wear.
