A framed limited edition artist proof screenprint tilted You Meet the Nicest People on a Honda by Rupert Jasen Smith. This vibrant piece depicts six various styles of Honda motorcycles with a diverse group of riders. The screen print is printed on Lennox Museum Board with diamond dust accents outlining the motorcycles. This piece is signed and numbered ‘AP 15/15’ in pencil to the lower right. Smith was a master screen print artist and worked closely with many legendary artists in both the Pop and the Neo-Pop movements. He collaborated with Keith Haring, Kenny Scharf, and most notably, Andy Warhol. Smith invented the process of enhancing screen prints and serigraphs with diamond dust, a technique that later appeared on many of Warhol’s works.
