A Japanese ceramic figure of a bearded man wearing a cloak in a sang de boeuf style glaze. Sang de boeuf is French for ‘ox blood’ and is used to describe a deep red colored glaze. This figure features a man with a blood-red cloak and an unglazed bearded face. Marked ‘Kōyō’ (光洋) to the underside.
