A machine made Persian style area rug. The rug features a pattern of floral palmettes in a palette of sage green, cream, powder blue and black throughout the deep red field. The field is surrounded by a compound resolved border that offers a Herati pattern throughout with a black background and the rug is tagged to the back ‘Capel’.
