A selection of Alfred Meakin decorative plates with scenes from famous paintings depicting Colonial American History. This selection includes The Washington Family by Edward Savage, Surrend Of Lord Cornwallis by John Trumbull, The Declaration Of Independence July 4th 1776 by John Trumbull, and Washington Crossing The Delaware by Emanuel Leutze. Each plate has an embossed floral rim with gilt trim and is marked ‘Alfred Meakin England’ on the base.
