Mid to Late 19th Century Victorian Ballroom Side Chairs

Item Details

A group of two mid to late 19th century Victorian ballroom side chairs. The wooden, gold tone frames feature scalloped crests with cutout handles above pierced and shaped splats flanked by spindles. The seats are upholstered in floral-patterned, needlepoint fabric, each of which is different. The chairs rise on ring-turned front legs joined to the raking back legs by box stretchers.
