An original oil painting on canvas board, by New Jersey artist Martha Gilbert Skouger (b. 1885). The painting depicts a young girl with blonde ringlets, playing a violin. The painting is signed to the lower right ‘Skouger 55’, and is presented in a light colored, rustic wood frame. Ready to hang.

- some small bits of paint missing in a few spots near edge of image
- scuffs and wear to frame
