1922 Gattis Worm Oil Testimonial Advertisement
Item Details
An original testimonial advertisement for the benefits of Gattis Worm Oil. The advertisement features the image of a jar full of worms, supposedly 111 in total, collected from a three-year-old after treatment with the oil. The father of the child wrote a letter to Gattis Chemical Co., featured at the bottom of the ad, that states not only success with his 3-year-old child but also the eradication of 65 worms from his five-year-old as well. A series of letters between the local supplier and Gattis Chemical Co. are printed as well, listed in chronological order from bottom to top. Presented in a simple wooden frame behind glass with hook for hanging and attached stand.
