An original Victorian illustration from Under the Window by Kate Greenaway (British, 1846-1901). This illustration dates to circa 1878-1885 and depicts a group of children gathering flowers and helping eachother outdoors near a fence. Beneath the illustration is a poem. The illustration is framed and the back of the frame features provenance information as well as a certificate of authenticity.

Greenaway was a popular 19th century British children’s illustrator whose work, according to the listed provenance, was popular enough to influence other illustrators as well as children’s dress during this period.
