A limited edition offset lithograph after 1988 watercolor by Christopher Rex. Titled The Berlin Wall at Brandenburg Gate this depicts the section of the wall before the 18th century Neoclassical gate. It is signed in plate and by hand in the lower right, and numbered 195 out of an edition of 500 to the lower left. It is titled in the bottom center in black typeface with ‘The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus European Debut Tour’. As well as an artist, Rex is Principal Celloist with the orchestra. The work is presented double matted under glass in a wood frame, wired for hanging.
Condition
- some minor surface wear to the frame including faint scratches; blotches of wood stain to the back of the frame.
