A reproduction porcelain sculpture titled “The Winner” after Doris Lindner (1896-1979). This handpainted modeling work depicts a purple and red clad jockey with crop raised celebrating his horse’s win as they stand upon the green felt-like turf. The piece is marked to the underside reading “The Winner Modelled by Doris Lindner 1959 Royal Worcester” and to the side in handwriting reading “69”. The work is presented on a porcelain base which fits into a maple tone stand.
