Georg-Karl Pfahler Abstract Geometric Serigraph

Item Details

An untitled serigraph attributed to German artist Georg Karl Pfahler (1926-2002), known most for his color blocked canvases filled with vibrant hues. This piece is divided diagonally, with the upper right half filled with a green triangle and the lower left half having dark blue, light blue and yellow. There is no visible signature on this piece but there is an embossed character in the lower left corner. Many of Pfahler’s works are signed on the verso, but this piece has been attached to a stiff cardboard so it is not visible. The print has a single white mat and is housed behind plexiglass in a simple metal frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.
