A vintage leather top writing desk. This rectangular top piece with black leather inlay features a beveled edge over three aligned drawers with gold tone escutcheon plates and ring handles rising on carved tapered legs. There are no visible maker’s marks or labels on this piece.

Condition

- right drawer slants to the right and is not flush with the other two drawers; right drawer has locking mechanism present but is not attached; center drawer is missing interior hardware with lock mechanism; left drawer lacks right wood paneling and its brass pull is loose; distressed throughout; scratches and losses to leather top.
