Pair of Signed Black Pottery Vessels Including Oaxaca
Item Details
A pair of handcrafted, signed black pottery vessels. Included is a hand thrown and pierced vessel resting on a carved, trimmed base. It has triangular reticulation with incised lines to the exterior; signed to the underside from Oaxaca, Mexico. Also included is a handbuilt, coiled pot, having abstract designs to the high gloss black exterior, achieved through a process of wax resist. Signed illegibly to underside and dated 1987.
