Early 20th Century Capodimonte Lidded Jar

Item Details

An early 20th-century Italian porcelain jar with lid by renowned manufacturer Capodimonte of Naples. The lid of the jar is ringed with a floral design in pink, orange, and green. In the center of the lid are four figures bearing a garland of flowers which match the coloration of the edge of the lid. The base of the jar is banded by a gold tone metal ring featuring a forest motif of trees and leaves. On the bottom of the jar rests the famous ‘N’ and Crown which authenticates the piece as authentic Capodimonte.
