This edition of The World Crisis by Winston Churchill was published by Charles Scribner’s Sons in 1931. It is the first abridged edition of the original six-volume edition published between 1923 and 1931 features revisions by Churchill and a new chapter on the Battle of the Marne. Also included are four additional works by Churchill including Great Contemporaries, My Early Life, Step by Step and Thoughts and Adventures. All four works are reprints which were published between 1948 and 1949 by Odhams Press Limited, Long Acre, London
