Collection of Sterling Silver Shakers

A collection of sterling silver shakers. The collection includes seven salt and pepper shakers featuring a variety of designs and shapes by different makers. Three matching shakers have faceted sides and round screw caps, and are marked ‘Sterling’ along with the G. H. French & Co. maker’s mark. A shaker with rounded sides decorated with small dot patterns has a round, domed screw cap, and is marked ‘Sterling’. A simple, round shaker has a round, domed screw cap which is marked to the side, ‘Sterling’, and is also marked with the Gorham maker’s mark to the underside. A shaker with a wide bottom and narrower top is marked ‘Sterling A3135’ and has a Gorham hallmark. Another has a hammered texture and is marked ‘Sterling’, along with the Webster Company maker’s mark. Total approximate weight, 1.55 ozt.
