A collection of Peruvian wood and fabric folk art decor. The collection includes a colorful, hand-stitched mixed media fabric tapestry depicting a market scene. The tapestry includes fabric, wood, leather and woven fibers. Also included are six carved and hand-painted wooden animals, with brightly colored abstract designs and geometric patterns. Included is a turtle, a pig, an armadillo, a white bear, a dog and a hoofed animal. One is signed ‘Hipolito Fabiail San Martin Oax.’ Another is signed ‘Ticajeta’. The white bear is signed ‘Sergia Aragon – Arrazola Oax.’ The dog is signed ‘Isabel. O – San Martin’. The green painted animal is signed ‘Enrique’. The turtle is not marked.

- the pig’s ears have become detached, but are included
- horn of hooved animal has become detached but is included
- light scuffs, wear to some
- tapestry panel has light wear, loose threads, some soil or discoloration in areas
