A large collection of eclectic tea cups and saucers from Denmark, England, France and Germany. This lot of twenty-five includes thirteen teacups and twelve saucers. Some of the items are handpainted porcelain by individuals; these are marked ‘Ada Magnuson’ and ‘M. Peplow’. Manufacturers from England include bone china of Royal Crawford and Queen Anne. Items from Japan include Norcrest and Saji. A pair from Germany is marked ‘PMR – Bavaria – Jaeger & Co’. Another pair is marked ‘Imperial Austria’. Pieces from France include those marked ‘Limoges – WG & Co. – France’ and ‘Porcelaine – Theodore Haviland – Limoges – France’. The teacup without a saucer is the blue on white Royal Copenhagen item marked with the crown and ‘Danmark’ stamped in green over three blue waves and ‘1/76 – 35’, which dates it from any year after 1923.
