Variety of Mexican and Native American-style Art and Decor
Item Details
A variety of Mexican art and decor. The variety includes a handwoven black and white wool or cotton handbag, which is not marked. There is a Navajo style fabric doll, with a painted face, yarn hair, and a red velveteen dress embellished with seed beads. A colorful bird figurine and a wooden horse figurine are made of carved and hand-painted wood. The horse is marked ‘Lesh.’ A round, black pottery vessel has pierced sides and rests on three short, cone-shaped legs. A round red and brown woven fiber basket features geometric shapes in a light tan color. Also included is a hand-painted coconut shell mask, featuring a whimsical horned creature with human eyes and red lips. Unless noted, the items are not marked.
